Mark Donation to Dementia Cafes'
   
On the 23rd May 2014 Bro. Andrew Cogle W.M. of Lawrence Mark and three other Brethren accompanied our Provincial Grand Master Right Worshipful Brother Peter Connolly to make a presentation at the offices of the Alzheimer's Society for Central and West Lancashire in Fulwood Preston.

The visit coincided with Dementia Awareness Week. 
 
The team of visiting Mark Master Masons were made very welcome by five members of staff and we were served with coffee and biscuits.  The team were shown a variety of books that had been bought by the donation of £1000.00, £500.00 donated by the Lawrence Mark Lodge 313 of the Chorley Group and £500.00 donated by West Lancashire Mark Masons Charity Fund.

These books are to be used when people suffering from dementia visit the Alzheimer's Cafes or can be taken away and read at home.

The book's cover a variety of subjects to help them remember their past.   Inside every book is a large acknowledgement sticker stating these books were donated by the Mark Master Masons of Lawrence Mark Lodge No.313 of the Chorley Group and the Mark Master Masons of West Lancashire.
